How do I manage the list of students that are taking the CELDT?

Language Coordinators have lot of tools at their disposal for keeping track of students that will take the CELDT as either an Initial Assessment (IA) or Annual Assessment (AA).  By using PowerSchool SIS, you can utilize the PreID process which will drive down the amount of time spent bubbling in sheets for every student taking the test by submitting data to CELDT for labels that come pre-assigned to the student with demographics and previous test scores included!

To take advantage of PreID, the very first step that you must take is to flag a student as either

  • (1) Initial Identification
  • (2) Annual Assessment

Step 1:  Navigate to a student page and then to State/Province-CA > Pre-ID Exam Information

Step 2:  Near the bottom of the page, select the test type and Submit.

Step 3:  Done!  With your testing purpose set, consult your data manager on how to best proceed with ensuring that the student information is up to date.
