- Note: Charter and Nonpublic schools enter District Code after select the checkbox with the label “Select for charter and nonpublic schools, State agencies, State-operated schools, and child care institutions with schools.”

- School Site Start Page > School (Setup) > Attendance Codes
- Field name: [AttendanceCode]Name
- State Attendance Code
- District Office > District (Setup) > Schools/School Info > Select School > (scroll down to) New York State Information
- State Attendance Description
- Field name: None (defaults to Excused, Unexcused, Tardy, In-School Suspension, Out-of-School Suspension)
- School Year Date
- Field name: None (defaults to June 30 of selected year)
- Attendance Code Type
- Field name: None (defaults to STUDENT)
