If you have setup the Parent and Student Portals for your PowerSchool site, you may want to routinely check the statistics on the usage of those portals throughout the year. The following steps outline a quick procedure to run the Parental Access Statistics in PowerSchool.
Step 1: Navigate to System Reports
From the Start Page, navigate to the System Reports page. Start page > Data and Reporting > Reports > System Reports.
Step 2: Set the Parental Access Statistics report parameters
Select the Parental Access Statistics from the Statistics submenu:
On the Parental Access Statistics report page, select the Date Range for which you want to see the access statistics:
Click on Submit to view the report.
Step 3: Understanding the Parental Access Statistics
There are three areas of Parent and Student Portal access for which PowerSchool provides usage statistics:
- Parent/Student Mobile App Stats
- These are sign-in and access statistics for the Mobile App for Parent and Student Portals
- Parent/Student Web Portal Stats
- These are sign-in and access statistics for the Web Browser (include phone web browser) Parent and Student Portals
- Progress Reports Emailed to Parents
- If this feature is enabled, this section shows parents that signed up and received progress emails
